01

Microphone permission

With your permission, the sound meter uses the microphone solely to estimate the ambient sound level. Processing happens in real time on your device. No audio recording is created, retained or transmitted.

02

Data stored locally

Your favourites, theme choice, sound-meter calibration and alert threshold are stored only on your device so the app can restore your preferences.

03

Data not collected

Sonaura Tone does not collect your identity, contact details, location, audio recordings, advertising identifiers or health data.

04

Your control

Microphone access is optional and can be revoked at any time in your system settings. Local preferences can be removed by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

05

Third-party services

The app includes no advertising or analytics service. Apple or Google may separately process store-related data under their own policies.

06

Retention and security

Sonaura does not receive preferences stored locally by the apps. We follow a data-minimisation approach and reassess this policy as features evolve.

07

Children

Sonaura apps are not designed to collect personal information from children and do not knowingly collect personal data about them.

08

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The date shown at the top of this page indicates its latest revision.
